Tomek Albin


Graduated from the Multimedia Communications Faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. Represents the new wave of young Polish artist photographers. His learning path took him from the basics of reporter photography, climbing the ladder from assistant photographer to lead photographer working with various advertising agencies across Poland and Europe.

Currently, lecturer with the advertising and conceptual workshop at the prestigious National Film School in Łódź and most of all one of the best advertising photographers based in Warsaw.

For years, combines a passion for pristine and perfectly planned, night landscapes with very technical and sterile commercial still life photographs. All personal projects are taken only in analogue technique, working on medium and large format cameras.

In 2010 and 2011, in 3 galleries showed his autobiographical series of landscapes titled Auto Fire. It could be seen in galleries: Rondo Sztuki in Katowice, DAP in Warsaw and in Cracow Pauza. In 2014 Tomek showed 2 projects. First was called "VillageCity" and was exhibited in GWL gallery in Warsaw. Second one "Modern Warsaw Citizen" was showed during Warsaw Photo Days in gallery Nowe Miejsce.

His works have been widely recognized by the international jury and published in the album Still Life Selected Views 2008 and 2009, as well as in prestigious Luerzer's Archive 2008 and 2009.

With Saatchi & Saatchi agency has won numerous awards. Some of them are: Silver Drum and Silver KTR in 2010, Silver and Bronze KTR in 2009, and the Bronze, and Gold EPICA in 2008.
